Sunset at Haddah Beach

Haddah Beach might look like your average spot at first glance, but the real magic is underwater with those vibrant reefs. During the day, the water turns this beautiful turquoise color.

Some days the mountains way off in the distance looked like they were floating. Most evenings, at sunset you still get that classic orange glow that makes everything look warm in Haddah Beach

Sometimes, when there’s too much dust, a grey layer settles over everything, dulling the colours and giving the whole place a more pastel look. It’s mostly due to all the construction work nearby, which really affects the clarity of the view, especially at night. You used to be able to see the Milky Way so easily… but these days, it’s much harder.

I’ve been to Haddah Beach many times, but there’s this one sunset I’ll never forget. The whole sky turned this dreamy pink. That day, I went with a friend and we were alone to enjoy this show. To this date, I ahve never been able to see the sky that pink. It must have been the perfect conditions.

Haddah Beach isn’t far from the wreck of the Catalia Seaplane. Although access is currently closed, I still invite you to read the article about this fascinating story of the plane.
